How it all started...
In early 2000, Pastor Danny's father (Danny Yanez Sr.) who was an evangelist, and a very well skilled and talented accordionist, received a vision and revelation from God to assist his son to begin a ministry in pastoring. Pastor Danny's father himself was a pastor for a few years before he was called to be a full time evangelist. He knew that it wouldn't be an easy task for his son who at the time was 21 years old, but knew his son was called and anointed by God and was confident his son would endure and flourish!
Danny Yanez Sr being a man of great and bold faith didn’t doubt God’s voice, so he listened and obeyed God. He had already been a witness to the distinct anointing that had been placed upon his son Danny Jr, who had begun preaching since the age of 14. Often times Evangelist Danny Sr. would take his son Danny Jr, to his ministry campaigns and church traveling services to give him the opportunity to preach the word. He saw and noticed the mighty things the Lord would do through the anointing in the life of Danny Jr. When Pastor Danny Jr. was baptized in water at the age of 14, he as well experienced the baptism of fire from the Holy Ghost. Pastor Danny at the age of 14 came out of the water speaking in tongues, and the people who were present felt a wind of God’s Presence over them. People could be heard saying, “God has a great purpose and plan for this young man."

For these very reasons, when Evangelist Danny Sr was told by God to build the first temple in which his son's ministry would first begin, he didn't hesitate one bit in what God was instructing, because he knew that there would be a unique and uncommon move in the ministry he was sowing into that would one day become a powerhouse for the Kingdom.

Expanding the vision...
On February the 3rd of 2011, Pastor Danny was struck by the loss of his father. One thing many people may not know is that while Danny Sr was building the temple for his sons ministry he was as well battling cancer. He fought it for 4 years and with courage and boldness in faith faced death fighting the good fight. Pastor Danny Jr. lost his mentor and greatest influence, but he never forgot his fathers words which he spoke while evangelizing. "I have never taught my children to be cowards, because even though I have been sick, I have never stopped preaching the Good News."
The year after his fathers passing, Pastor Danny and his congregation moved from a 100 seating church sanctuary to a 1000 seating church sanctuary. God began to open doors in the life of Pastor Danny and for the powerhouse ministry. The church ministry under the leadership of Pastor Danny was now named: MGM Christian Center. Many Ministers such as Steve Munsey, Joby Brady, Mark Filkey, Clint Brown, Trent Cory, Michael Pitts, Michael Sides, John Ramirez, Eddie Long Jr, and many others were amongst those that came to minister at MGM Christian Center. Along with hosting some very powerful revivals in the RGV, every year on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, the church hosted events for the community where 500+ people were in attendance to be hosted and loved on. Hundreds ate a fulfilling meal and as well had a chance to win door prizes. Every Christmas 500+ plus toys were also given to children in the community.
Inspired by Steve Munsey, Pastor Danny along with his team and with 30+ Youth in their Theatre ARTS ministry began to put on theatrical productions. These productions were unlike anything else the RGV had ever seen! These productions involved: indoor fireworks, impersonators, dancers, life changing stories, real animals, stunts, and a creativity that made you feel as if you were watching a movie on a broadway stage with the message of the Gospel! These theatrical ministry productions led by the vision of Pastor Danny, would draw in crowds by the hundreds and 100+ people would accept Christ at the altar call during these production nights.

Where we are headed...
In August of 2019, Pastor Danny was again struck by tragedy that hit him and his family extremely hard and unexpectedly. His daughter, Victoria Faith Yanez who had just celebrated her 20th birthday, unexpectedly transitioned to heaven 5 days after her birthday. Victoria was a sweet young lady with an amazing devotion to God. She was a very active participant in the theatrical team and as well lead the media team at MGM Christian Center and played a huge role in the launching off of Higher Frequency Church. Pastor Danny, his wife Lady C, and his family were devastated by this unexpected tragedy. And although broken, Pastor Danny depended totally on faith and stood at his daughters funeral and preached hope and salvation to the hundreds of people present at the funeral. As a result of his bold act of faith and assurance in his faith during this unbearable pain, 109 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This is how the ministry phrase “Victory Faith 109” was birthed; it honors his daughter Victoria Faith and the number of people that received Jesus as Lord and Savior at her funeral. Despite the devastation, Pastor Danny and his family knew that their purpose and calling was not over. In his brokenness and grief he kept showing others through his actions that broken colors will still color. He became a believer that brokenness is a ingredient for true wholeness which inspired others to see that the Grief of life is real, but that the Grace of God in the supernatural was much more real. In his pain he kept preaching hoping that his life could minister that God was not the Author of Pain, but an Anchor in Pain. In 2019 for an instant, it seemed as if failure wanted to take a hold of Pastor Danny's ministry and unfortunately in December of 2019, with a broken heart, Pastor Danny had to make the heartbreaking decision to move from their 1000 seating auditorium. HFCC began to rent a conference room where they held service on Sunday mornings. Then in 2020 the Covid pandemic began and at its worst moments, lockdowns began to go into affect. What was much more disturbing to Pastor Danny was that people were asked to not gather to help prevent the spread of Covid. The past months were difficult on Pastor Danny, but in his mind and spirit, there was nothing that was going to stop him from preaching the gospel. He knew that in a time where people felt hopeless; it was the time to preach hope, in hurting times; it was a time to preach healing, in times of a pandemic, it was a time to preach power, in a time of a global issue, it was a time to preach a Kingdom Influence, in a time of a virus, it was the time to preach virtue, and in this time of Covid, it was the perfect time to Preach Christ…
During the pandemic in 2020 while churches were asked to not gather for "Easter" Resurrection Day, Pastor Danny did the opposite and held a service. Pastor Danny held a "Easter" Resurrection Service in the parking lot of the Donna ISD Football Field. People criticized him, including some Christians who called him reckless and careless. None the less, people were hungry to hear the word a fresh Word of God. Due to most churches closing in the RGV, 200 cars gathered to listen to a word by Pastor Danny, entitled "Jesus Died Because He refused To Be Social Distant From Me." On that day people accepted Christ, the blessing was spoken to everyone in attendance, a prayer of power was made for the citizens, businesses, city and county leaders; the Gospel was preached and Jesus was exalted! During this time Pastor Danny had the support of the city mayor and the county judge, because he was officiating funerals for the community and broken families when other pastors, priests, and ministers refused to officiate due to the Covid Pandemic.
Today we are currently in the downtown area of Donna, Texas; hosting services in our recently remodeled sanctuary. We are now Higher Frequency Community Church, a name that Pastor and his daughter Victoria discussed before her unexpected passing. Here at Higher Frequency Church, the fire of Holy Spirit is hotter than ever and the Word is nothing, but the truth and the whole truth. The HFCC sanctuary is as well connected to its Broadcasting Ministry Center, known as The Right Frequency Broadcasting Studio —where Pastor Danny broadcasts prayers, current news, special sermon topics, divine themed messages, and other broadcasting gospel shows. We are now delivering word globally and with all humility, honesty, and glory to God; its just the beginning.
